Возмножно я скоро начну записывать всякие вещички и мысли насчет того, что происходило в жизни. 

Я помню как я первый раз ударил человека, вернее то что я запомнил и то что я знал что делаю. Я не люблю жесткое проявление силы, и поэтому такие моменты запоминались всегда.

Мне было года 3-4. Я был в детском саду. Была зима. Мы были на прогулке и мои друзья Вова и Кирил (кажется так его звали) делали снеговика. Оксана им помогала. Они делали его почти всю прогулку и неплохо веселились. Я не помню, что делал я, по моему просто гулял вокруг и смотрел на снежок. Мимо пробегал Павлик. Павлик был странным персонажем, то ли он искал внимания, то ли он просто был дурак, но не суть. Он любил драться и любил показывать что он старше/выше других детей. В этот раз он пробегал мимо ребят и решил, что стоит подпортить им кайф, поднять себе настроение. Оксане он кинул снежок в лицо. Снеговика разрушил, а Кирила ударил. И начал над ними смеятся. Было так противно смотреть на этот бред. Как человек может быть таким козлом? Наверно примерно эти мысли пронеслись у меня в голове, когда я догнал Павлика и оставил у него под глазом не хреновый фингал. Поднялась шумиха и нас начали растаскивать Забавно, что я отчетливо это помню до сих пор.

Интересно во сколько формируется личность, понимал ли он что делал насколько понимал это я. Каков этот Павлик сейчас?

Quick update, while my software is frozen:

Things are going great. I am becoming more of a dick every single day. Success! :) Design work has been rather fun recently. I basically don’t sleep, but you know, that’s cool as well. Looking forward for summer with its work, fun and sunshine.

Alright, back to work. You may find quick render attached to this note. Couple of days old now and also shit :)

Deleted message to University of Lincoln.

So my post to my own university has been deleted from the social network. It is just not professional to act like that on a piece of constructive criticism, damn it. I have been approached by staff about it, yet, I am afraid not much is getting done. I received a lot of support from fellow students, thanks for that.

Original message, posted on the 30th of January 2012:

“Hello, University of Lincoln.

I have few issues, which I think should be addressed, but so far I had no clear responses to my questions. I am not the best at creative writing, so I will try to make it short and thus will just get to the points I would like someone to answer. I do architecture, so those are just some problems which have arisen over the years:

• Photographic equipment from the media building. I am not rich, I can’t afford a good camera. The solution is obviously to get a cheap-throw away one (which breaks) or get one from the media building. How surprised I was to find out that you have to be a media studies student to do that. Tutor from my faculty suggested I borrow their own camera (private), because they don’t have any relationship with the media department. This sounds like rather simple admin work to me. Unfortunately reception was no help.I am not even going to mention computer equipment or quality of space in the architecture studios.

• Laser cutting is rather expensive as well. Well I always thought that it is a bit silly to even charge for that. What actually is the cost to it once a laser is purchased? Electric bills? It is a service! Why should you even charge for a service once I paid tuition fees? I know a few universities which do it for free as a matter of fact. Well, printing I more or less understand that you have to buy ink, which is rather expensive. I haven’t actually seen a person who has used 3D printing yet (which costs a fortune, but saves loads of time for someone who has money (is that fair?)).

• Dissertation meetings. One hour a week, which tutor sets whenever he/she likes. That is nowhere near enough time and effort, which needs to be spent. Why not make tutors allocate specific time? I mean, its very inconvenient getting an email about the meeting you usually have on Wednesday, that it is moved to a day earlier. I always have work to do, but this is making me do work at night (I did that kind of stuff in first and second year a lot, because I like putting my best effort into things, but it is getting a bit crazy). Tutors say that they feel it is not enough time as well, but they can’t do anything about it (a single person takes quarter of an hour to talk to at least). I guess all I am asking for here is a clear structure and organisation.

• About that, actually. There are still incidents of tutors encouraging students to sacrifice their health (sleep) for  university work. Really? We are not exactly getting paid to do it and if the person is spending all their time on work and still has to do all-nighters …something isn’t right, correct? Meanwhile, I am getting told that “times spent on work are carefully calculated”. I would really like to see those calculations, please? Throw a reference at me.

• This brings me to the point about grading system. Can someone tell me exactly (!) what makes a grade difference. What needs to be done. Maybe then I won’t spend time on something that actually is not relevant.  And once again, I am asking for clear structure.

I just wish that it would be possible to turn back time to the beginning of May, or even December 2010. Everything would be different, days would be better.
